Wilhelmina Kealohapauole Barrett

Wilhelmina Kealohapauole Barrett, was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, nana, sister, and aunty. She went to rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and kūpuna on August 29^th, 2023 at the age 86, surrounded by her loving ohana.

She was born in Honolulu, Hawai’i on January 22^nd, 1937 to Albert Muller Hussey Sr. and Josephine Sepa Oneha. In her early adulthood she worked as a PBX switchboard operator before going on to raise her family. She spent most of her life showering her family with a selfless love that is unrivalled in this world. Wilhelmina embodied her name, Kealohapauole, and epitomized the spirit of aloha. Her love, care, and affection was known by all she came in contact with; from her family and friends, the homeless she helped to feed and clothe, to the people she met in passing, all were profoundly affected by her presence.

Kealoha is reunited in heaven with her Tutu Rose, her parents Albert and Josephine, her husbands Ignacio Batalona Jr., Henry Arnold Bassett, and Robert Heppard Barrett, and her grandchild Ann Hokulani Lopez. Her legacy of aloha will be carried on in her 6 children (Valerie, Mac, Lynn, Dorothy, Margaret, and Lance), 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, her brother and his wife (Clarence & Violet DeCaires Jr.), sister and her husband (Irma & Phil Ockerman), sister-in-law (Darthy Phillips), three nieces, and a nephew.

A funeral service will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on September 14^th, 2023 at La Paloma Funeral Services 2551 South Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas, NV 89117.
