Timothy Reuben Spencer

Timothy Reuben Spencer of Henderson, Nevada died on February 22, 2021 of
cancer. He was 72. He was born on July 28, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to
Chester Eugene and Eileen Winnifred Spencer. He graduated from
Santa Ana High School in 1967 and attended Rancho Santiago College for 3
years. He was in the United States Navy and Reserves from 1967-1973. He
married Shirley Ann Lendrum on February 7, 1970 in Santa Ana, CA. He
worked for Garden Grove Unified School District for 22 1/2 years, retired
and moved to Henderson, Nevada in 2013. He believed that family always
came first. He loved being with family and playing games. Timothy is survived by
wife Shirley Spencer of Henderson, NV; daughter Ruth Spencer of Henderson, NV;
Son Scott Spencer of Eldon, MO; grandson Kyle Spencer of Lake Forest, CA
sister Gaylen Leuenberger of Cottage Grove, OR; sister Virginia Tolliver of
Cottage Grove, OR; sister Judy Walsh of Henderson, NV; sister Charlene Albers
of Henderson, NV; 33 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his
father Chester Eugene Spencer; mother Eileen Winnifred Carey; step-father
Charles Carey; brother Martin Spencer; nieces Lisa Davis and Donna Layton.
