In Loving Memory of

Mary Louise Morrison-Cano-Herrera

1937-2021

Mary Herrera, age 83, passed peacefully on March 14th, 2021.

She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on November 29th, 1937.

She met and married Johnny Cano and they were blessed with 11 children:
Ramona, Johnny, Margaret, Emily Joe, Frank, Lulu, Cathy, Stella, Melinda, and Marty. The family moved to California to start a new life, and after sometime, John Cano was taken to be with the Lord.

Mary was blessed to meet a wonderful man named Jesus Herrera, who loved her and her 11 children. They were also blessed with 3 more children: Thila, Chewy, and Mercedes.

The family ended up in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was the city Mary loved most… (Or should I say she loved her Casinos, buffets, and Gambling!!!)

Mary enjoyed her family and was the happiest when all her kids were together, She had the best birthday celebrations each year. The bigger the party the better, and she always wanted to cook because she was the the BEST!!! We all couldn’t wait for her green chili dinners. She loved to dance to Rock & Roll and listen to the Mariachi singers. She had a strong Faith in the Lord and would always light her St. Jude candle to watch over her.

Before her passing, Mary and Jesus renewed their vows of 50 years! Jesus promised this to her and he kept his promise. It was the most loving ceremony!!! You can see what God gave them as a couple. She was his lady!

Her final days were filled with the love of her husband, Family, and Friends. There were 5 generations of family: 61 Grandchildren, 77 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.

Momma, you were the greatest!! Heaven just received and Angel and you will NEVER be forgotten and always in our hearts.
