Linda Wright passed away at the age of 77 on May 18 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born March 14, 1947 to the late James and Arbetrice Bowden in Raleigh, NC. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers: James, King David, Frederick, Willie, Paul, and Donald; and three sisters: Rebecca, Betty, and Paulette.
She is survived by two sons, Darick Wilkins of Dallas, TX, and Michael Wright of Las Vegas, NV, and one sister, Josephine Strickland [Corbet] of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by a loving companion, James Burch, two granddaughters, a host of nephews and nieces, and her favorite dog, Moses.
Linda graduated from Garner Consolidated High School in Garner, NC. She started her career immediately following graduation with Bell South as an operator. She also worked at Lea Funeral Home. After leaving NC., Linda lived in Dallas before moving to Las Vegas. She loved to find a bargain and enjoyed her programs, especially Family Feud, Gunsmoke, and Jeopardy.
