Kathleen “Kathy” Parham passed away on 31 January 2022 at the age of 86, in her home in North Las
Vegas, NV. Her battle with kidney failure in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges
with a smile. Despite the pain, Kathy came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
She was born to Nunzio & Catherine Belmonte on 12 November 1935. After graduating from school,
Kathy chased her dreams and followed her family to CA. She later met the love of her life, Jim. Kathy
and Jim married in 1962. Together, they raised 2 beautiful children: Michael and Jon.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Kathy. She loved a quiet evening with Jim and a glass
of wine or two in hand. Kathy often enjoyed hitting the slot machines and found excitement when
those lights flashed, and those sirens whaled. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily
activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Kathy’s cheerful attitude and
bright smile will be missed.
Kathy is survived by her husband, James; son, Jon; sister, Mary; and several other family and friends.
Kathy will be honored in a funeral service on 1 March 2022 at 1:20pm at Southern Nevada Veterans
Memorial Cemetery.
