It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Juan Carlos Ochoa, who left us on February 23,2024. He was 57 years old.

Carlos, as he was fondly called by friends and family, was born on  September 04,1967 to Alicia Villegas in San Diego, California. He grew up in San Ysidro, where he attended Southwest High School.

Carlos was a hardworking and dedicated person who excelled in his career as a chef. He was known for his exceptional skills and professionalism, and he was respected by his colleagues and clients alike.

Despite his busy schedule, Carlos always made time for his family and friends. He was a loving and caring brother who was always there for his siblings whenever they needed him. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face.

In his free time, Carlos enjoyed always making sure we were tended to, he was always eager to share his knowledge and experiences with others and of course keep us well fed. Carlos would always make time to help the less fortunate as well, he would make friends with the local homeless and assist them in any way he could.

Carlos  is survived by his mother, Alicia Villegas, his siblings Fernando Villegas, Claudia Villegas and Gabriela Villegas. and his children Susana Ochoa, Charly Ochoa, Candy Ochoa and Juan Carlos Ochoa and his loving four legged buddy Lili, who never left his side during his journey. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, dear brother. You will always be in our hearts and memories. We will always remember all the good you brought to everyone’s lives and the great food.
