In 1994, Tiger met the love of his life, Karen Marie Wild-Brown “at church”in Santa Maria, California. They married in 1999. Tim also leaves behind two cherished daughters, Chelsea Renee (Zack) Abbott and Amelia Grace Wild. He loved spending time with his three grandchildren, Ayden, Logan and Aubree.
Tim was preceded in death by his father and namesake, Glyn and his dear sister-in-law, Bonnie. He is also survived by his mother Jean, sister Robin (Rick) McCauley, brothers Rick and David (Deb) Brown. Survivors also include brothers/sisters in law, David (Lulu Gargiulo) Wild, Nelson Wild, Susan (Jamey) Barnard, Jani (Deb) Wild, Sarah (Sam) Lantz, Leah Cordes, Dan (Kelly) Cordes, Michael (Nancy) Kenny, Nathan Kenny, Kris (Bob Hawkins) Kenny.[a] Also, in-laws Jan (Dar) Cordes, David (Shari) Wild and numerous siblings.
His last few years in the Air Force he was at Vandenburg Air Force Base. On one of his Sundays off duty, he was at the beach and without hesitation, saved three people who were drowning in the ocean. For this he was recognized with the Airman’s Medal of Courage in 1998.
Upon retirement from the Air Force, Tim completed a BS from Grand Canyon University and Police Academy training in Sacramento, CA. He worked for many years at Target Stores in security management and for IKEA in Safety & Compliance. He was serious about working out and staying fit, beginning with the 300# lift club in high school. He loved to golf, was a recognized marksman and loved Elvis, The King. He also loved his dog Lucy, who preceded him in death, and was working to train Lily, to be more like Lucy.
Tim lived a life of honor and integrity. His sense of humor was unpredictable and unparalleled. He exhibited level-headed kindness and exuded love for his fellow humans. He never cared for brussel sprouts, didn’t like food to touch other food on the dinner plate and never ate leftovers. In his last year, he and Karen moved to Michigan to help care for his mother-in-law and her husband. His immune system was compromised. He dutifully received the COVID-19 vaccine when it was available to him, but it was still a battle to stay safe. Cause of death was a breakthrough COVID case.
Burial will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, VA.

I’ll never forget when you’d walk into the office and we’d greet each other, and you with your, “Hey! What’s goin’ on?” You truly became one of my closest friends over these last 5+ years, and there’s a void and emptiness when I drive and visit the areas we would meet at. Thank you for your service Tim, I’ll never forget you buddy.

As a government civilian and retired USAF Security Policeman, I worked with Tim several years before his retirement. He was great to work with, always cari g for his troops best interest. He also cared for how his hair looked all the time!! Great sense of humor but very serious about the task at hand. We will miss you Tim. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. I retired and moved home to PA. I’ll keep an ear to the ground for his internment at Arlington. RIP Defender. We’re for the watch now!

It was a pleasure to have served with Tim in the Air Force. I served with him in Korea, Saudi Arabia and at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Ca. Tim was a good man and always looked out for his troops. He will be missed. A hand salute to you MSgt. Brown. RIP Defender.
Rest in peace brother. I am just shocked and saddened to hear you’re not with us. You are in fact a brother to me. I still can’t wrap my head around this. I am so very sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. I had the pleasure of working with Tim at Target in Auburn and referred him to IKEA when the time was right. We know how much love he had for Lucy and Karen. I remember when his Aubree came too, because I had an Aubrey too about the same time. RIP my friend.
