Sue started life in New Jersey where she spent her adult life working in the hotel casino industry, starting as a POS clerk.   In 2005, Sue with her dog Sammy packed up and moved to Las Vegas, where she worked as a senior business analyst, first at Agilysys and then at Caesar’s Entertainment, where she worked until retirement.

Sue enjoyed her retirement years.   She took 2-3 trips a year and traveled the southwest.   She enjoyed bingo and the slot machines.  Sue kept in touch with old friends with whom she would meet up with on a regular basis.   Most evenings you could find her at the Palace Station steakhouse bar where she enjoyed making new friends, and cheering on her favorite teams the San Francisco 49er’s and the Vegas Golden Knights.

Sue was the last member of her family.   She outlived her parents a brother and a sister. But Sue had a way of making her friends her family.

We will miss you Sue.

  1. Oh Suzie, I can’t believe this has happened to you! The family has meant a lot to me! Aunt Ro and Uncle Tom were fantastic! And my early years having you close by was a blessing!! So many good times with you all! I can’t believe this seemed to happen so sudden. I had just received a card from you in December and you said you were doing great. Love you, Valerie

    1. I just found out my cousin Susie passed away! I am so shocked! My brother apparently found out on Facebook, which I don’t engage in. I am her first cousin and my mom and her mom were sisters. I also have 4 living siblings (one has passed) that were also her first cousins. We both sent each other Christmas cards every year and I also received one this past December. I always wrote her to come visit if she ever came back to New Jersey, but I believe she never came back after to moving to Nevada. She was the last of her entire family to pass. My beloved aunt and Godmother, Aunt Rosalie, was Susie’s mom., and her father was my Uncle Tommy. I have very fond memories of staying at their home in Plainfield for a week in the summer hanging out with Susie, her brother Tommy, and sister Irene when I was a very young girl. Susie used to work at a farm taking care of horses and took me a few times with her. After her father passed, my Aunt Rosalie bought a house on Long Beach Island, where Susie lived with her. Me, my mom and brothers and sisters would go down there and visit in the summer. So many happy memories! Susie always had a smile on her face and was such a pleasure to be around. So sorry I didn’t know about her passing sooner. God bless you Susie, and rest in peace. I hope you are up in heaven with your family having a blast! Also, give Nana & grandpa my love.
