Sherry E. Hanshew went to be with her heavenly father on March 1, 2022. She was the daughter of Paul E. Niman and Martha C. Niman, of Churubusco, IN. Sherry was a loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived with her husband, Jeffery L. Hanshew in Wolcottville, IN and then later moved to Las Vegas, NV. She worked for many years at Noble Wire and upon moving to Las Vegas became a loving homemaker for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sherry was a friend to many and accepted people as they were. She and her husband were both involved with ABATE of IN, Region 0 of LaGrange/Dekalb county. They enjoyed spending time with fellow members at many events. They were married May 20, 2000 at an ABATE event by longtime friend and fellow member Pastor Paul Stanley. She was raised in the Baptist church and had a strong, loving relationship with the Lord. Almost everyone she came into contact with instantly loved her personality, and she could always make you laugh. She absolutely loved to make crafts for her family members and loved to crochet. 1. R.I.H. Beautiful!! I Will always treasure our memories together Thankful i had the opportunity to know Sherry!!Prayers for the family..I know she loved you all so very much and will be watching over everyone of you!!

  2. Condolences to Grandma Sherry’s family, who rightfully are very sad at her passing. She is one of the truly most loving people I have met and I will miss her greatly. She never did anything that didn’t include people, that didn’t create fond memories and she never left anyone out, all knew she loved them. She was and is, a bright light in a weary world, and my one regret is that I didn’t know her better.

May the family know, and angel was born that night, although, if we couldn’t see the wings, they really were already there, and know she is not gone, we just can’t see her yet. God Bless you all and keep you safe in his arms, and her own.

  3. RIP Sherry, She was a great step-mom to my kids. She will be missed. Sorry I couldn’t be there for you all.
