Rose Evelyn (Black) Weber

Born February 17, 1935 and passed away May 8, 2021 at the age of 86.

Rose was born to Faye and Rollie Black. She was born and raised in Chicago with her 3 younger sisters. In 1956 she met the love of her life, Bob Weber. Six months later they were married on June 16, 1956. Over the next couple years they welcomed three children, Robert, Cheri and Kathy. Rose was a devoted catholic. Rose and her family would attend St. Pius Church in Stickney every Saturday evening. When Rose’s children were growing up, Rose attended Morton College. She loved her job at Central States and worked there for many years until she retired at the end of 1998. That’s when she and Bob decided to both move to Utah. They lived in North Salt Lake, Utah until 2018 when Bob passed away. Rose was suffering from Dementia and Bob was her 24 hour caregiver. Shortly after Rose moved to Las Vegas and lived there until she passed away. Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by Robert (Tammy) Weber, Cheri (Groberg) Lavulo, Nicole (Chris) Cox and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Weber and her daughter Kathy Weber.
