Jerrell L Cook passed away at the age of 86 on Tuesday May 2nd, 2023. Jerry was born in Illinois and died of complications with Alzheimer’s and dementia. He was a church of Chris believer. He was a wonderful Husband to Gloria Cook and great stepfather to Carlos Suarez, Rick Suarez and Marcia Fantano. He also leaves behind his loving grand children Alejandro, Leonard Suarez and Christina Suarez. Jerry will alway be in our minds and hearts. He lived a full and satisfied life. Jere was a kind and brilliant man. He shared his love generously with me, my husband Josh and our two children Alejandro and Leonardo. “Grandad” shared some fun memories with the boys prior to his Alzheimer’s worsened. We are lucky to have had Jere in our life and we will never forget him.
Jerry was fun to have around, to listen about his travel adventures in Hawaii, Central and South America. A good father, a good husband and a good friend. He will be missed.
Grandpa Jerry was a very positive role model growing up. He was always kind, sweet, and talkative. He always had a story to tell and morals to deliver. He will be missed by all he knew. I know he is in a better place now. I know you are watching over us now, until we meet again in heaven.
