We are here today to Honor the man the myth the legend.

Gregory Lenelle Simmons Sr. was born March 23rd 1970 in Los Angeles. Attending Manhattan Place Elementary, Henry Clay junior high, and Reseda high school. He was the youngest  of mother Linda Ann Bridges and his father was Alfred Simmons. He lived with grandmother Annie Mae Bridges (Boot )on 98th and Normandie. Survived by children Gregory Simmons Jr. and Nathan Hylton, and grand children Jordiyhn Simmons and Nathan Hylton Jr. Brother of Pamela Jenkins and Darrell Bridges. Along with a host of nieces nephews and cousins. Also know and Slimloc as well as BlaqIce went from the streets of Cali to the hot streets of Las Vegas. He started his journey as an entrepreneur in the mid 90s as CEO of Ballin Under Control Entertainment where he managed and produced his first compilation album Doin A Bit Much featuring Quack D, C Luv, Mellow, Kozi, Bad Azz ( From LBC Crew), and Tre Da Chocolatae. With his hustle, determination and lack of filter he opened and closed doors from Miami to Las Vegas which earned him the name (Blaq Ice The Manager). Blaq Ice continued his managing career and worked with numerous artist from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. But he didn’t stop at music, he also owned A beauty supply store and kept his hands in various investments around Las Vegas at the same time managing to be an outstanding father and loved grandfather, I guess you can say he was born to manage because he was to damn prideful to work for anybody but himself.

Blaq Ice was a die hard Raider and Laker fan, but he was an even bigger fan of who could make him money at the sports book. We will definitely miss you to tell us the truth when nobody else would but most of all your big heart and selflessness.
