Adriana Ionescu, 75, of North Las Vegas, NV, passed away on April 21, 2025.
Born on August 7, 1949, in București, Romania, Adriana was the beloved daughter of Virginia and Mircea Dragomir. She studied Cosmetology in Romania, mastering the art of care and beauty, before bravely building a new life in the United States. There, she discovered her true calling in caregiving. As a Certified Nursing Assistant and hospice nurse, Adriana brought comfort, dignity, and compassion to those in their most vulnerable moments. She also shared her healing touch as a massage therapist, believing deeply in the power of kindness through human connection.
Adriana had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for travel—always seeking new experiences. She often said, with a knowing smile, that everyone is “an open stage comedian,” finding humor and light in everyone and every day.
Adriana was known for always having a smile on her face, radiating warmth wherever she went. She had a special way of making people feel loved, often blowing kisses to those around her—a small but unforgettable gesture that captured her sweet and affectionate spirit.
Adriana is survived by her loving son, Andrei Mignea; her daughter-in-law, Tara Martinez; and her adored granddaughter, Ardin Mignea.
She is reunited in peace with her parents, Virginia and Mircea.
Though no services are planned at this time, Adriana’s spirit lives on in the laughter she encouraged, the love she shared, and the countless lives she touched.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.
